Where is this sending unit?
89' f-150 with 300 I-6. I am trying to find the sending unit that controls the temp. gauge. I have had several different answers. Some say it only has one that controls both the computer and the gauge. Others say it's on the drivers side of the block, and others say the passenger side. Can anyone tell me where this is?

Ok, there are two sending units. One is for the computer, and the other is for the gauge. The one for the computer is front and center. The one for the gauge is on the passenger side at the rear of the block under the exhaust manifold. Most easily reached by pulling the starter.
