Gas tank selector switch

Hello,
My mechanic says "the connector assembly for tank selector in the dash is in very deteriorated condition"
He says this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
Anyone know where to pick up one of these connectors?

1990 Ford F-150 Pickup duel gas tanks. 4.9L efi

i'd probably hit a junkyard first. Other then that you can go with another toggle switch. Not sure though, i'll pull mine out tommarow to look at the wiring on it.

so its not switching tanks? Did you look at the switch yorself?

I changed out the switch and connector on a 1988 F-150 5.0L last year. Both were available through Ford then. They were both so badly melted I'm surprised the truck didn't catch on fire!!
