Check the rear adjustment,if the system hasn't been opened you shouldn't need to bleed them.

you said the brakes are kinda new, who did them ?........
the rear drum brakes are very simple yet are complicated by some things being done wrong ( shoes on backwards, adjuster in backwards, adjuster on wrong side, improper adjustment, etc...)
has the pedal been going down slowly ?, has it always been low since the brake replacement ?, are the wheel bearings tight?

did you do them ? I need to know what you know about the system.
if the adjusters are on the wrong side they will unadjust themselves

See if the adjusters are on the wrong side. If you take the adjuster from the left side and put it in the right side, the brakes will de-adjust themselves. That's what it sounds like has happened.

the problem is that checking that isnt that easy, full floating d60's need to have the drum/hub removed (i am assuming it is a full floater, most were) which is a little more than just pulling a drum, that is why i asked what you know about the system, you can check it by adjusting the adjuster wheel, you know if you are going the right way if it clicks as you rotate it, (it should not rotate backwards, if, it is installed with the proper self adjusters in place) it should tighten the drums on the shoes fairly quickly, (do not over tighten, you should be able to turn the drum by hand) if you notice you are adjusting for a while and there is no drum to shoe contact, then they are probably installed on the wrong sides of the truck
ALSO
I have seen properly installed drum brakes wear very fast if they were contaminated by sandy mud and not cleaned, and i dont know what your truck has been through.......
