how much do you tow?

I would be interested in finding out how much you guys tow with the V-10. What's the heaviest load you have towed either by bumper pull, 5th wheel or gooseneck?

Some days (most any ways) a fuel load of fuel and my 208 pound butt.

My truck is 7816 empty and 8100 full. scales at 22,850 on a trip so I guess all of us, bikes, and tag trailer are a little over 14K.

I usuallu am within a 100lbs under or over on the SRW rear axle.

I tow a 2005 Keystone Laredo 5th wheel (29bh).

31ft, easily 10,500 full loaded. With air bags/BanksPowerPak etc. Not even an issue

I have a car trailer that weighs 2000lbs unloaded. I junk cars on the side with it and
load them with scrap metal. had a 91 Explorer fully loaded with scrap that was up to
8000 lbs! After I got off the scale I was astouded! 10000 lbs and the truck hardly
even noticed it! The truck is a 2002 F-250 reg cab 4x4 V-10 6-speed with 4.30
gears and I pull off the factory hitch.

I am in Texas and we can wagon train also but only if the intermediate trailer is a 5th wheel and not a bumper/frame hitched trailer.

It gets real interesting some times as not all the states have the same rules. My last trip out to Tucson and back we passed a big diesel pusher Buss type class A and he was trailering about a 16 foot, tall enclosed, single axle trailer and behind it was a nice looking 21 foot Bass Boat.

Interstate 10 out in west Texas does not have many State Troopers, but I am amazed that in over 800 miles some body did not stop him... He was well over 80 feet long!

Fred, yes I think there is a length limit around here of 74 feet I think, I believe it is the same length of a big rig.
