Fuel System?
Hello folks,
I am getting ready to do a facelift to my fuel system. I couldnt figure out which board to post this on so here goes...
Dual tanks on a 1995 F-350 460 EFI E40D... I have a mallory adjustable regulator and a new autometer fuel pressure gauge, I want to install these as well as possibly re-pipe my fuel rails. Additionally I want to change the fuel line to 1/2" from the tanks forward and replace the factory filter(s) with a decient aftermarket filter system. Now for my questions, Does anyone know how the fuel pump (possibly pumps, I dont know) are setup on these trucks? I have heard many contradicting stories. Second, do I need to upgrade the pump(s)? How and where is the best way and place to hook up the new regulator and gauge? Would it be benifituial to upgrade to fuel rail to 1/2" as well? If so how hard is it to do and where do I get the parts? What parts are needed and what should I watch out for and gotcha's? Any help that anyone who has done this can offer would be greatly appreciated. I await any answer. Thankx in advance!
