What year is the Bronco? If it's a 78 79 it can fit 33's but small trimming might be needed to keep the tires form rubing. Or you could space out the front springs (cheap but roughens the ride) and put small blocks in the rear (also cheap but also roughens the ride) and clear the 33's fine.
if they are 33x12.50s on wheels with stock backspacing they will probably rub on the radius arms on full turns. This could be fixed by getting wheels with a different backspacing.
yeap they are 33x12.50 dont know the back spacin tho. I could also get wheel spacers couldn't i? The guy that is sellin the tires says they are AR rims that will fit Jeep CJ5, Ford, and some Mopar, witch doesn't mean anything about the back spacin bcause all those have the same bolt pattern.
i would think since they are aftermarket wheels they would have a different backspacing than stock but guess you would have to check. I don't know if its a good idea to use wheel spacers though.
Front bumper and radius arms will be the worry with that tire size. The inner fender will be the LEAST of your problems. The radius arms aren't gonna get out of your way no matter what you do. Some clearance can be gained with trimming and shallower backspacing of the wheels but not enough to clear without rubbing. Check the chart in the red link in my signature regarding tire sizes and lift requirements for those tire sizes.
The most often overlooked problem with just slapping larger diameter tires under the truck is that if you keep the stock axle gearing your fuel mileage and your power to climb hills and pass on the freeway will go right out the window. Larger tires don't need to spin as fast to cover the same amount of ground so the engine doesn't have to spin as fast to get you moving. This may sound great for fuel mileage but in fact the engine will not develope the HP and torque it needs to maintain speed and you will end up downshifting a LOT and wasting a lot of fuel trying to develope the HP and torque that just won't develope with the gearing still stock and the tires 2" bigger around than stock.
ok Anyone know someone that has 33" on a 80-86 Bronco thats a member here?? anyways the tires are 33"x12.50 Mud Kings?? Who makes these?? and anyone ever have a pair?
