Emissions Test PSDs
I was looking at rebuilt and reman. PSD's on the web. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about the emissions test engines that are for sale. They say they have less than 8000 miles. But there is that one word TEST that kinda makes me nervous. We have products at work that we TEST and we basically destroy it to see how long it will last. Just curious.

The word 'test' would make me a bit nervous too. These babies may be tough, but they ain't cheap! Certainly not cheap enough to gamble on an engine that may have been overstressed to test it. I'd get detailed information as to how the engine was treated before I'd seriously considder it. And if something still tingles oddly, I'd turn away.
