Radius arm bushings - help!!
I just got a '93 F150 I-6 2wd in need of what i think are radius arm bushings. is the radius arm the long bar the holds the front of the suspensions to the frame (connects to the frame in the floorpan area behind the firewall)? uses large donut style bushings. any tricks to replacing them? does the front suspension have to be hanging free? or can i jack up one side? any info would help. thanks, jeremy (f150 newbie)

Yes, that is the radius arm. i am in the procces of doing the same, but i took the whole front suspention off, so im not sure about getting it off with every thing in place. In my case, i couldnt even get the nut off that bolted the radius arm to the I beam because it was so rusted, so i took it out as one unit. My truck is also almost 10 years older than yours. In order to get to that bolt i beleive you would have to take the springs off too, but i am not positive because yours is a 93 model and im not sure if that would be different. It doesnt take long to get it all out, just the springs, one bolt on the i beam, and the brake calipers, but before you do all of that i would find out if you even have to do that.
