360 to a 351W?
My friend's dad has a 73 or 74 F-150 with a strong running 351W and blown C4. To swap the engine what will I need to swap over from the 73? Someone told me on this forum a while back that the 351W will bolt to the stock 360 frame perches, but I have seen a few posts on here that make me wonder about that? If not will the perches from the 73 bolt onto the 71 frame? I have read on here that 65-79 the frames were the same up front?
I have a C6 out of a 78 E150 van that was behind a 300 I6 that I am going to use for the transmission.
I have the front end completely taken off the truck so it is fairly easy to slide the engine in and out. I will probably have the 73 here in the next couple of weeks, just trying to figgure out what I gotta do until then.
Thanks.
My F-250 seems to have a bigger, thicker radiator then the 73 and my 69 F100 parts truck, so I would rather keep it if possible. I'll change it if I have to.
Also, since my truck already had a C6 in it I am hoping the newer C6 will almost be a bolt in.
It's raining like crazy, so I can't do anything to it today.

I appreciate it guys.
