Motor Temps

Can anyone tell me the average temperature that diesel and gas motors operate at?

180 to 220...depending a lot on the different motors...hope that helps, it is a bit of general question.

I notice that most users choose the pyro temp, trans temp, and boost when getting gauges. Is there a correlation to pyro temp and motor temp, or will the pyro only get hot if the motor is hot?

No there should be no correlation if the cooling system and "T" stat are doing their job.
