Well, mine turned out to be a simple fix. Last night I went into town and bought a new fuel filter and swapped it out tonight after getting home from work. When I went to remove the filter cap it was loose to the touch...

So I tightened it up by hand and restarted the engine - no leaks.

So I replaced the filter and took the truck for a short drive - still no leaks. Life is good!

Ill check that cap/ filter. As much as I would like it to be a simple fix, I know I'm not that lucky.

Leaks. Yeah, here is another one.... Mine had a leaking fuel line. On the passenger side, just in front of the turbo pedestal, the fuel line gets near a high pressure oil line (I think from the HPOP). Mine touched, wore through, and leaked. Had to be replaced. Funny how one little metal fuel line cost almost $80 - not installed, just the line. Nice markup. Wish I owned a dealer parts shop.
