Wink Pro Comp Shocks vs. Rancho Shocks

Well which is better? I ask because 4 wheel parts is running a special on pro comp shocks where you buy 4 get the steering stabilizer and shock boots for free. I think the es 3000 were $132 the es 1000 were $99 and I think the adjutsable ones were $179; IIRC. Rancho is still running their buy three get one free deal until the end of April. I am considering the pro comps as I need to replace six instead four shocks and have been wanting to add a steering stabilizer too. Going with the pro comps I might actually be able to do all that at once instead of spliting it up if I went ranch. So what's the verdict on the shocks?

To tell the true I don't know, but I would say the rancho would be a little bit better, but not worth the extra $$$ over the procomps, and also it seems that procomps also produce good products.
I would go with the es 1000 to save the money and there wouldn't be a noticable difference between the 2 other than in you wallet.

I say get the shocks that will best fit your situation (hard core off-roading, mild, light, or whatever). Nothing worse than not buying enough shock - meaning that if you work a shock beyond its capability then it will fail or at lease under perform, and you will be very dissatisfied. Not to mention having to shell out more dough $$$'s.

yeah, don't go for the ones just for the better deal or cheaper. It will cost you more in the end to change them out and replace them cause you don't like the ride. I guess they are probably both good but just between pro comp vs rancho I would choose the rancho but thats just my opinion from stuff Ive seen and read.

What ever you do let us know on here and how much you spent, I wil get a bronco in a little over 12 hrs. and would like to know how much you are spending on 6 shocks, because i'll be putting a 6" lift and will have to replace mine.
