hey evrybody i did buy the 77ford f150 4x4 351m 4speed the guy through a parts truck with it a 76 f-250 2wd but i have took the bed off of the 4x4 and sanded the frame painted it and in the prosess of rebulding the front end with poly bushings and new bearings,brake pads,milemarker hubs, and a new pitmann arm, and since i had the bed off i was wondering if the dana 60 from the 3/4 ton truck could replace the 9 inch without much troulbe like without having to get a new drive shaft or springs. thanks for any info

You'll need to shorten the rear tailshaft by 3 inches, and probably go to a bigger rear uni. Check the brake wheel cylinders too, if they're different you may have proportioning problems. I did what you're talking about, but I changed the front to F250 hubs and brakes too.
