worn out steering

hey, guys. I've got a 83 f100 that has 234,000 miles on it. The steering has a lot of slop in it. I plan on lowering the truck, but don't know how much yet, probably no more than 3" front, 4" rear. First, do any of you have any reccomendations as far as a "kit" to lower this truck? I thought about bell-tech. A buddy of mine has used their kit with excellent results, and that's what I'm after. I would like to do it with minimal hassle. Since I'm going to be working under the front end anyway, I need to replace the tie rod ends, ball joints, and my center link has some "slop" in it, which brings me to my next question. Where can I find one? Are they available at a parts store, or do I need to go to Ford ($$$)? I plan on completely rebuilding the suspension/steering, and do not want to just simply patch it together. I also want to add new poly bushings as well. Any help would be greatly apprectiated.

Most good size parts stores have all of the above mentioned parts. I have a NAPA and a Carquest around the corner from me that I know would have those parts. Good luck.
