Cables!!!
I am looking for all the cables I need, Choke, Throttle, Vents, Defroster. Mine function in a technical sense, if you are a gorrilla, if anyone knows a way to refurb them I would be glad to do that, but otherwise I need all new cables, and have not been able to locate a source for the cables for my 57 F-100

BB, welcome to the best Ford site in cyberspace. Have you been by Sam's Vintage Ford?? I get all my new,used, NOS,and obscure stuff from him. He just brought in a complete truck as your last week that he may have parted by now. Sam is at 5105 Washington St. 303/295-1709 , Tell him Jonathan sent you so he can charge you double. Sam normally has great prices, large used inventory and is a stocking dealer for Carpenter
Members, are there any similarities between 56 and 57 heater or cables. I have all my stuff and don't really need it. BB, I am near Broomfield.

Welcome to the fourm. Not sure if you really want to refurb them, but i have had luck making them work free and easy. Remove them, soak them with some trany fluid, try to get as much inside as poss. even try to blow in with air presure, then hook a varible speed drill on it, spin and work in and out untill it works freely.
