Certainly you wouldn't be thinking of buying some dealer-offered rustproofing package, right? 99% of those dealer-offered packages are overpriced (or worthless at any price) profit-boosting crapola. If you want to do something about additional rustproofing on your truck, at least do it on your terms at a vendor of your choosing.

Depending on your location Line-X offers rust proofing that works pretty well. I would suggest it for anyone living in snow/ice country since quite a few places are using magnisium chloride which really tears up a vehicle.
