Works great!!! I've used 4 different models from 2 different manufacturers over the years, and Prodigy is the best. Just make sure you can reach the manual control easily, in case you ever have to jerk a trailer back in line when it starts swaying.

thanks, i put it just to the left of the wheel, where i can get it easy with my left hand, my old peice of junk was mounted way down on the right, i had to bend over to reach it, and i could barely see the road when i did, i had to fix that...!

This is by far the best brake controller that I have used and I have had several. Once you have it set for your trailer, that is make the adjustments once your hooked up, you probably won't have to do any adjustments again. You have a boost adjustment that goes by the size and weight of the trailer, plus the power setting, it is self leveling and again it is almost fool proof. Good luck and happy towing!

Love mine!!

The very day I installed mine I had to make a quick stop. With my old unit I would have been in deep doo doo. With the Prodigy, it was a smooth controlable stop.

What I like most is it ignores the bumps while braking. My old inertial controller would grab when I hit bumps while braking the Prodigy doesn't .

steina thanks for the link again, i clicked on the ford one and i found where under the bronco is the female end of that connector. the harness is exactly what needs to be inside the harness inside the car.

so i guess installing this unit will be so easy compared to what i thought it would be. and i'll be able to take it out if i had to.

now only if u-haul had dollies/car transporters with electric brakes now instead.
