Can Someone Explain What The Three Numbers In A Tire Size Mean?
I Have 235/85/16 And I Was Told I Could Use Also 265/75/16 I Know The 16 Is For 16" Rim Size But What About The First Two Numbers? Oh And If I Still Dont Get It Can U Tell Me Which Of These Two Are Bigger Overall And Which Is Thicker? Thank You Mike
first number is Milimeter across the tread, second number is the sidewall size in %, third number is wheel size. IE 255/85/15, is 255 MM across the tread. the sidewall is 85% of 255, and it fits in an 15 inch rim
