engine miss under heavy acceleration?
My friend has a truck similar to mine but has the 300/6 in it, when he accelerates hard the engine makes a sortof ping knock sound but only when cold as far as I can tell, but its not really knocking, it sounds like maybe pushrods or the valves making a noise...or is this just the way a 300/6 sounds when you get on it when its cold? no engine codes are being thrown out, he doesn't have any mods except for exhaust and a K&N filter...

engine miss under heavy acceleration?
No one has any ideas? Could it be the oil filter? As it goes away after about 5 mins?
