Question about Hedman Headers

I was looking for Long Tube headers on summitracing.com and i found a nice pair for my '86 F-150 2WD 4 Speed, theyre only $150 but it says it only works with automatic trucks ??...and i was wondering why that was??? if anything a manual tranny would probably be smaller than a automatic....does anyone know why this is???

Probly referring to the 3 on the tree as the linkage would be right in the way. For my '77 dodge they say the same thing but also that it won't clear the High Tq. starters etc. I say buy them and see, if its a 4 speed there should be alot more room than with the auto.

Hmm, I didn't even know that the '86 had hydraulic clutches. I looked at my diesel the other day because I have to do the clutch and I doubt there is any way to move that line, try and bend that plastic line and it could break.
