Seat belts
I finaly got a truck and wouldent you know it its a 72 ford f-100. Well I love it and my family who are strong chevy supporters hate it. They are constantly finding things they dont like and well one is the fact that my truck only has lap belts. I was woundering if anyone knows of a way to add a three point belt. The truck has what I think is a seat belt mount on the sides of the cab but im not sure. I would appreciate the help.

There was an option for shoulder belts in the 67-72 series trucks. It had a second set of belts that had a buckle across your chest. It appears you buckled the lap belt, then the shoulder belt. it attached up in the corner, the other part came out of the seat where your lap belt does now. I can scan a pic and send it to you. be careful when installing 3 point belts
The hook can knock chips from your door paint when unbuckled. I am using a set out of a nissan pickup. My recoil mechanism is on the floor,I recommend a recoil on the b pillar to pull the hook up and out of the way. 74-79 ford pickup has this style.
