Maybe selling...

Hey fellas, I have a 92 ranger xlt it had the 2.3L 4 and a mazda 5spd. 2wd short box.
The engine is blown, but we had just gone thru the tranny and rplaced the slave cyliner master and put new metal plugs on the top shifter plate, it shifted like a dream. The body is clean with a few whiskey dents. was wondering what this truck would be worth.
There should be a pic of the truck in my gallery.

Thanks,
Clint

Try pricing it at kkb.com or edmunds.com, prices vary by location.

I tried but I was asking about this ranger cause the engine is dead. Those places show for running trucks.

Go back to kbb.com, nada.com, and edmunds.com, be honest about the condition, and price it as if it were a running truck. Then deduct from that what the price would be for a legit, for profit SHOP to make it in the condition you just described. The new slave cyl and whatever else is nice, but the reality is that those are expected to be in proper order and good condition so they don't increase the value. Just how it is in the world of used vehicles.
