How much is too much?????
on my 93 7.3 no-turbo i turned up the fuel 3 flats of the allen wrench but was wondering how much i could go without melting it...i would like to see it roll some black smoke but dont want it to burn....any ideas

Anytime you turn up the pump you need a pyrometer installed, frying the engine can be done so easily without one. Since you have the 5013 IP there are other screws that can be tweaked too.

If three flats isn't smoking out the whole neighborhood. I don't know what to say.
I usually wouldn't suggest more than 1 flat for a non turbo. I'd say you better buy a pyrometer and see just how close you are to burning it up.
