Ford Manual Trans. Replacement
I've heard a ZF 5 speed will bolt up to an 85 351W without much trouble. Is this tre?
Will it also bold up to the NP208 Transfer case?
I'd like to swap out my 4 speed for a newer, sturdier 5 speed, Is this the ZF the best choice? I want something like a 3.50 first gear and overdrive on the
top end.

I know this much.
zf-5 speed
1st is around 5.72
2nd is 2.94
5th is 0.76
So you will still have your four gears from 2nd-5th with a granny. You might want to think about a zf 6 speed, if that will fit.

Sound System: Stock Stereo, RockfordFosgate 800 watt amp, Vega 18" sub (400 watt rms), one Cerwin-Vega LS-12 3 way floor speaker with the Vega sub removed (because I blew it) and a RockfordFosgate 12" sub (500 watt rms) in its place. And one Boise floor speaker with a 75 watt power capacity (you know it ain’t gonna last).
Performance Mods: K&N Air Filter.
Cosmetic Mods: Black Grill Guard, 5% window tint, bug guard, bed liner.
