As anyone had a problem with the 7.3 on rainy days.
If I did not know better I would think it was water in the dist. cap.
It can happen after setting all night upon start up. It will start and run, but when you drive away it will spit and sputter, or if it starts to rain at mid day it may act up going down the road.
It may stay running, but will not rev above idle rpm. Although it may rev in neutral when you put it in drive it will not rev.
Some rainy days it may be OK and not act up at all, but when it does it is always a wet day. Never has acted up on a dry day.
Since it will do it after sitting over a rainy night, then it can't be water that has splashed.

Mine is having a similar problem, but it is tied to me washing the engine last Friday. It runs fine for about 10 minutes, then starts sputtering, racing and sometimes dies. I had it in the shop for them to take a look at it, and they couldn't reproduce the problem, and it wasn't throwing any codes. They wanted to change out the fuel pressure regulator, but couldn't say that was the problem. I told them to pass. I can't afford their $300 guess! I'm just going to pick up the truck now, if I figure out what is going on with mine, I'll let you know. Take care.
It's time for a CPS ( cam position sensor ). I had a bad one that started that way, only acted up in the rain. Eventually it started doing the same thing when it was dry. Get it from International, should be about $90.00. Tell them you need a CMP sensor for a, whatever year your truck is, T444e. It is real simple to replace, and even if it doesn't fix your problem you should really be carring a spare anyway. They can go out at any time and some times without any prior warning, leaving you stranded.
