I Just got one from LMC too, I'm not impressed with mine either. So I'm going to put it on the truck with all my lights and grill, get everything fitting just the way I want, then take it all apart and send it in to get chromed. Then it should be pretty hot.

There is only one company stamping them, so it doesn't matter if you buy it from Broncograveyard, LMC, NPD etc., its all the same aftermarket part.

See if you have a "CertiFit" body parts store in your area. They may have them, they had mine.

I bought one of the aftermarket ones and was not impressed with the dull finish.
Then I went to ford and purchased an original factory one. Much heavier metal and very shiny.

It wasn't very shiney, and it was a little out of shape, I had do some bending to get it right. I just expect things to be in perfect condition when I buy them "brand new". I just wasn't impressed

I agree, I haven't mounted mine yet, but the holes are all out of alignment and the inserts don't fit into the insert holes, I'm going to have to do ALOT of bending to get mine to fit, I was expecting that it would bolt right up.
