OK...I hit a buzzard with my 05 Exped on Sunday.
The grill is broken into about 5 pieces.
Factory replacement is going to run about $400.
I would like a billet style horizontal grill.
Anyone have any brand recomendations and pictures?
And just how does one go about hitting a buzzard anyway??
Well, I was driving about 50 MPH and 10 of them came flying out of a ditch next to the road, swirved to miss the one heading for the windshield and hit the one I could not see below the hood.
I used the link Matt provided above and bought a grill from Crutchfield.com made by Carriage Works. I'm happy with the results. Note, the instructions that came with the grill were poorly illustrated.
@fullhouz I thought Crutchfield sold audio/video equipment... I am not surprised the instructions were limited. I found that the guide hosted by Truckin somewhat helpful. Congratulations on your new grill. I'm working on a grille design for my truck and should have it done soon, whenever I get around to it.
