Tire size question

I have a 05 F350 DRW and to me the tires look way too small for the truck. My last truck had 315-70-17 on them and I still have a few extra sets left over. Would they fit on my DRW truck without making any mods?? The stock tires are 245-75-17.

Dont know if they will fit on yours, but i have a 01 f-150 4x4 offroad and i can get 315's on it, so if your truck is a 4x4 i would think so

I think you are going to have no probloms in the front but in the rear you will. The 315-70-17 in the rear wont work. The problom is that its a DRW so you will hav 2 315's on each side in the back . They are going to touch one another. The tires arent supposed to touch. there is supposed to be room for them to expand and bulge with a load. If you try and put 315's back there they are going to be touching one another before the weight of the truck even gets on them. What can happen is that they can heat up like that and blow...It also helps to cool your rear brakes, You would be blocking out any air going through there. I cant see running them without some kinda spacer..
