I am looking for a vacuum diagram for a 85 351-W 4brl
The motor came out of a e-150 85 and I am putting it into a 81 F-150 4x4.
also need if anyone can tell me where to find the engine ser#
I have looked all over the motor and I cant' find it.
Need to get truck emissions test and need all vac line installed.

When I swapped engines I simplified my vacuum setup and it passed emissions here in NC with no problems. I'll try to draw a diagram below:

Now, there are additional vacuum pots that interface with your air pump if you use it. I removed mine and they didn't say anything about it. I made sure that there wasn't even a trace that a smog pump existed. Hope that helps.

OOPs, the program doesn't hold my hard spaces, oh well, try this:

-EGR to temp switch, temp switch to vacuum source (front of carb)
-Vacuum source to power brake booster (large port)
-Vacuum source to tranny modulator
-vacuum source to vac can for heater controls
-vacuum source, ported side of carb, to vacuum advance on distributor
-vacuum source to vacuum switch for carbon cannister
-Side of carb (large port) to vacuum switch to carbon cannister
-PCV in valve cover to large port in front of carb

Anyway, that's all the vacuum hoses I have hooked up on mine today, at least, I don't think I missed one.
