They just opened a huge new coal fired electrical generation plant in Hardin, which will employ about thirty people. This is a huge boost to the local economy which is on an indian reservation.
Glad to hear some local jobs are becoming available. It's never good to have people leave the area to find work.
There's an attempt to do that in the area where I live, here in ND. People are trying to build an Oil Refinery on the Indian Reservation, which will employee quite a few people, but it hasn't been completely approved yet. This could boost the local economy, and keep younger people employed in ND. Right now there are MANY more people leaving the state for work than there are staying in.
