Alright, I have the 4" downpipe w/ 4" exhaust, just added the AFE Stage 2 Intake and I am holding the Diablo Predator in my hand. Now the important question..... I am planning to go with A-Pillar gauges before I install the tuner. I have been looking at the Auto Meter Z-Series and the Isspro's.
Do you guys have a favorite of the two or should I consider something else?
Second question: My downpipe has a plug welded to it for the thermocuplar. I have seen styles that use the thread ends and styles that are mounted to a band clamp. How do I know which one to order to put it into the threaded plug?
Isspro's are prolly cheaper and match the OBS gauges nicely. the SD gauges are a lil harder to match.
The threads should match, I don't see why they would weld on a bung that didnt match probe threads. A better place would be to drill and tap the manifold and mount it in there, or drill one of the up pipes and get a clamp on type, THAT would be the easiest, safest way to do it.

Thanks........
The autometer kits come with all the hardware for any of the typical mounting styles.
Sorry, I must have taken them out???? I had pics of both sensors. I have pre and post turbo mounts and a toggle switch that flips back and forth between the two. That way I can see the difference in temps, blah blah blah
I have the Autometer Z-series. In the daytime they are an exact match to the dash gauges. Black face, white numbers, orange pointers. Instead of bulb covers I put green 194G bulbs in the gauges, available at Wal-mart or practically anywhere for that matter. They are just a touch brighter than the dash lights, but still very very close.
I purchased the Z-series because at the time, they were the least expensive gauges on the market.
