headlight question
ok guys remember back when i fixed the headlights on my 82 f-150? well... the problem is back, but i've narrowed it down to me jiggling the light switch rod.. i jiggle it and they come right back on... takes a time or two and then they stay on, i can get the lightswitch loose.. thats no problem.. but i can't get the wiring harness its tied into to come down far enough to unplug it...? any ideas?? do i need to remove where the hood release bolts? the emergency brake?? they both seem to be in the way but i don't know if they are truly the problem... any response would be helpful

Desperado, I do think that it would be easier to drop the emergency brake cable and the hood latch cable. They should only have a bolt holding each. It may not seem like much but once they are out of the way, you should have enough room. Good luck.
