radiator size

My 1966 has an 18 1/2 radiator. I would like to replace it. I noticed some of the 240's had the 23 3/4. What is the difference? How can I tell if the larger one will fit? Will it run cooler w/ the larger one? Is that better. I am adding performance parts this engine.

And The Water Pump

Is there anyone out there that can answer my radiator question? Also, where would I find a replacement water pump for my 66 240 I6?

you might try posting in the 1961-1966 forum.
those guys might be familiar with the make of your truck and be able to help you more.

Generally, bigger is better for a radiator, just be sure to use the proper thermostat for the engine. Too much cooling capacity is better than too little, as the thermostat can regulate the temperature.
