engine swap 351m
i got 78f250 4x4 351m with a bad motor. i found a 400 out of 79 lincoln mark 5 i think.the sticker on the valve cover says in family of 351m and under that it says its 400ci. my question is will that car motor bolt to my c6 and it looks like the oil pan is on the reverse order on the car motor than the trucks. will the car motor bolt up to the motor perches and can i just change the oil pans out with each other and the pic up tubes? i think i need to use the trucks stock manifolds instead of the cars manifolds because its 4 wheel drive? is there anything i should consider that i dont know about this swap befor i buy this motor if its going to fit in the first place? any info would be helpful need all the help and coments i can get thank u
