Question

What is this part?

1976 F-250-390 CI
Rebuilt engine,re-installed, can't remember where orange J shaped spring bracket goes. Assume its for transmission rod to carb. 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, automatic trans. I should have taken a picture before I tore it down. Any help would be most appreciated.

Does it bolt to the intake on the drivers side towards the rear?

I'm not sure. It has a part # D5TA 9741 LA stamped on it.

Throttle return spring that attaches to the intake near the rear ?
