Green Disease
I wish I had the knowledge before that I have now ... after exhausting all my mechanics and mechanic friends to correct a truck that would die at lights and on the hiway at 90km/hr my 87 F150 is now new from the tank to filters. Including all electical components (distributor, coil, wires, plugs, sensors etc ... to find that the main yellow feed wire from the harness to the solenoid was cracked and corroded (green disease) So go out and check your harnesses before you go through the trial and error procedure. I now have a new truck with only 137000 original kms.
