steering stabilizer question
Hey guys, hope you can help me with a question here. I have two steering stabilizers on my 72 halfton with power steering. The truck had two on when I bought it and I have since replaced them. My power steering pump is new but still seems to squeal alot. Do I NEED two stabilizers or is this just overworking my pump? The rest of the front end has been rebuilt.

Depending on what size tires you have and what kind of off-roading you do,I don't think you need 2.Assume you mean the pump is "whining" and it's not the belt "squealing".If the pump is whining,it's usually from air in the system or the type of fluid used (ATF will make them sing to ya).Dis-connect the dampers and see if that has any affect on it...
