Anybody watch Unique Whips show on The Speed Channel?
I tuned in tonight, what a joke.
I thought the occ boys were hacks, but they got nothing on these useless tools.
It only took Dave "The wheel & tire specialist" 3 times to order the right rims for a 84 cutlass they were wrecking...I mean "customizing". They actually sent a stock rim to the wheel shop to get the bolt pattern right. He said that it was a big job because nobody knew the bolt pattern......Hmm.. weren't there like 4 zillion gm's produced with that same lug pattern??
Then there was some other guy "The master installer" trying to shut the trunk after the sub box install....of course it wouldn't shut because nobody measured before building the boxes. No worries..he fixed it, using a 3 pound sledge to bang on the inner trunk.
I'm still trying to figure out what exactly these guys do...besides bolt on chrome trinkets bought out of a catalog.
The Speed Channel is getting to be like the Discovery and TLC Channels what with all their "reality" shows. How many vehicle makeover or bike building programs does one need? I haven't watched this particular show because I try to avoid other ones like it. If it's anything like the others....I know I don't want to watch it.
