WHATS THE DIFFRENCE
There should be basically no difference. The tail light lense is a little different between those years. I broke the rear driverside lense on my 92' F-250 last year backing up to a dumpster. I replaced it with one from a 83' F-150. No Problem! The lense from the 83' is more squared off but the socket fit the housing and the housing fit into the bed. The late 80's trucks had a larger clear section for the reverse light but was the same identical shape as the newer trucks. Good luck. Jake.

WHATS THE DIFFRENCE
Hi, the only difference I know of is the rear corners of the bed are different where they meet the tailgate and the wheel opening has a small bodyline change tail lights will interchange tailgates will not with out modifying the bed. John
