id this engine
I have a f-150 87', and am having problems getting correct parts because Im not sure whats in it beside it being a 302, engine # D9OE-6015-E3A. it has serpentine belt set up, fuel injected. what year engine is this in it. Any information would be greatly appreciated.. !

Assuming that's a block casting number, you have a very strange beast.
That translates to a 1979 model block. It could have gone into a vehicle as late as 81 or 82, though. But definately not an '87. Also, if it was from a truck, it would be D9T, not D9O. Not sure what O means - T-bird, maybe? It's definately a car motor.
If it's FI with serp belts, then someone took the block and put on FI heads and an intake. The serp belt stuff was adapted, too. How much customization was done... well, we'll never know.

I have been doing some research. What I have found out is the id # shows a 79 torino. problem I am having now is just ordering the right parts, timing cover and waterpump. Yes the injection system is something that is working fine. Problem now waterpumps dont fit, and cannot mount power steering and ac units.
