Transmission or rear problem
I have a 99 eb with 42000 miles, yesterday when i was driving the truck felt like is was in a high gear and like it had no power,but when i put it in neutral it was fine. 3 times when I stopped it felt like the truck was stick and in 3rd gear and stalled( coming to a full stop in gear). Finally i got the truck to go when i put it in drive, but now I hear a clunk when I put it in drive and take it out of drive. when it makes the clunk it looks like the drivers side wheel moves alittle. I think the rear is screwed up. Did this ever happen to anyone else,and if I have to replace some stuff in the rear what should it be. Any info would help. Thanks alot... I am gonna go to ford and get new gear oil and change that , i guess it cant hurt and see what happens
