ttb

i decided that for my purposes i don't really need a solid front axle in my 97 f250. all i want to do is raise the front to make it level with the rear, i was going to do this with new springs in the front that will lift it about 2.5". my question is this: does anybody make a brace for the pivot point on the ttb. i've heard this is the weak point on it. also, apparently rancho lifts somewhat correct for the weak points in lifting the ttb..anybody know anything about this? thanx.

I never heard anything about it for 2" or so. not a problem. the 4 inch and above uses a bracket there to lower the mounting point. you should be fine with 2" of lift. you may need an alignment bushing to keep the front end in check....and if you don't have shocks I recommend pro comps for price to performance...I have es1000s on my 92 and they are awsome.

I got drop brackets from here when I installed the 250 front end on the Bronco.
