Suprised Exhaust stuff.
So I have had my 99 250 CC for about 4 months now. I have been under the truck quite a few times. I have been thinking about getting rid of the cat, replacing the down pipe and cutting off the muff. Tonight I went under and to my suprise there is no cat. The downpipe is large and round, (am I correct thinking that stock one is oval. And pipe is approx 4 inches all the way down to what appears to be a stock muffler. The stuck muffler looks to have a 3.5 intake on it. Am I correct in thinking that this is an aftermarket exhaust system?

my 99 did not have a cat either, that year didn't. it sounds like a stock exhaust to me, look at the turbo outlet if the pipe is smaller than the outlet is is most likely stock. i did a 4 inch turbo back on mine and the pipe is big. it is the same size as the turbo outlet

If your muffler is a straight thru flow - then it's aftermarket - but if it goes in at the bottom of the muffler, and the outlet is at the top of the muffler - then you're still stock. And the stock downpipe is round (it's the OBS trucks that had a mushed factory DP) - it will be 3 inches if it is stock, going to 3.5 inches the rest of the way back for a stock system.

Yea my sawzall has taken a bite out of more than a few PSD mufflers!! 
Watch yourself though - don't drop that thing on yourself. That thing is one hunk of metal and is actually quite heavy!
