New 250 SD
Picked up the following today to be used as my tow vehicle for my race car.
Red 05 F250 SD
V10 4x2 CC
Sport Package
Tow Command
4.10 LS
Alum 17" rims
Reverse aid sensors
12.5k hitch
Looked around on the Ford.com site using zip code to locate the one I wanted. My dealer, good friend to boot, told me they have stopped making the 250 trucks for the year for some plant maintenance and no more are coming off the line so I picked this truck and the $2500 rebate (only $2000 for PSD that is already $4500 more than the V10) is over as of 4 April. Got it for $200 over invoice and I get the rebate. It's so quiet you can't hear or feel the engine at idle at all. Rides better than I expected for a SD. Couldn't be happier so far with 59 miles on it!

Nice truck ! Congradulations ! You will love it. I have almost the same thing except reg cab. I have close to 1200 miles on, all in less then 3 weeks mostly just for fun. It's not an economy car. It's a powerful truck and yes they do ride pretty good. Good as some cars on most kinds of road surface's.

I'm not very concerned about milage, my Lightning was only getting 13 on a good day and it burned premium so this isn't going to be any more expensive than driving the L which, sad to say, I sold to get this truck. Love this truck, just hated letting the L go.

Hey, nice truck! Same kind of aluminum wheels that I have. I didn't get the package with the paint colored grille. I may check sometime and see if I can replace my shiny grill with one like yours. I suppose they'd want a fortune for it. I kind of like the colored grille, a little more laid back and the chrome is kind of gaudy.
I think the exhaust system is all stainless. Good thing as I bet it would cost plenty to replace it.
