pretty hard trailer wiring question

pretty hard trailer wiring question

I have a 1998 f-150 and i built a headache rack for it with 2 l.e.d. red brake lights and 2 white reverse lights from ranch hand on it. I then bought a t-connector for te wiring harness now i need to know which wires go to what? i know i need a right and left brake signal and turn signals as wells as taillights and reverser lights what do i do? thanks

If you bought a T-connector for your stock harness, it should have the colors listed and their function. You will have to probe, probably the same harness you put T in and find back-up light wire. The best way to use it is to have it operate a relay and send 12-volts to your new lights.
