kiowaford, I replaced mine today (99 F350) and I had to turn it clockwise -then it just slipped right up out of there. I thought for a while it might break off inside the rearend as well. If I were you I think I would try drilling a hole into it and then using an easyout. Drill slowly to keep from pushing it into the rear end. Another option might be to drill a self tapping screw into a predrilled small hole in the brokeoff plug. If the screw is long enough you can probally get ahold of the screwhead and pry the thing out. Just a few ideas - good luck. ccc.
