mustang where was yours shorting at? I check the harness and everything looks fine.

Unplug the O2 sensor harness and see if it stays running.

jump fp test lead to ground and turn on ignition switch you should here the pump run. Then start the turck and see if it stays running if it does then you have a computer problem shutting down the fp. I have an 89 mustang that we run this way all time becuse the fp won't run from the computer. if it still does it then look at the fp relay and the crash switch.
