keyless entry?

Anyone know of a way to tell if my 96 XLT Explorer has factory keyless entry? I'm hoping I can just pick up a keyless entry remote and program it.

Not sure if 96s are similar to later models, but in later models equipped with keyless entry, to program a remote, you have to turn the key back and forth from off to on 8 times in a row within 10 second. The locks lock and then unlock. Then you press any button on the remote. Press any button on the other remotes (up to 4 total) to program the others.

I guess if the 96 is similar and has factory keyless entry, your lock will do the unlock/lock thing if you do the key cycle.

I think that all of the keyless entry's will have the number pad on the driver's door.
