tranny problems
Hi guys, right I need the tranny expert for this one. Having replaced the the 3-4 solenoid in my tranny it ran fine for about 3 weeks, now though when it is in overdrive at about 50-55mph it feels like it is slipping in and out of drive, does not do it at any other speeds though. When in just drive it does not do it. Now my question is, is it the speed sensor causing this problem or could it be the overdrive solenoid (I never changed this solenoid, wish I had) and if it is the speed sensor why does it not do it in drive as well. Please help me it is driving me mad.

Mine did that a few times, Then 3 months later the whole thing stop working. it's being taken apart right now.
Being a AWD it ain't no cake walk. When I get it a part I'll post pictures as it goes along. Man I wish the weather would stay around 75 degrees for a week without rain and 25MPH winds. Only in Texas
I seen those solenoids and sensor's. When I'm threw It will be Ford Tough again.
