I have 32,500 miles on my 2004 STX Supercab, 4.6 and 3.55. I'm in college and find myself driving constantly. The funny thing is that it is leased, so I pretty much HAVE to buy it out once the lease is up, or face mileage charges approaching the cost of the truck. During the second week of ownership, the throttle position sensor failed and I was without the truck for five days, but since then it's been running great - no complaints.

27K on my 04 Supercrew Lariat 2wd. I had the ring and pinion replaced twice both times 11K apart from one another. I am a little concerned, but other than that it's great.

04 Screw, 4.6 is at 33,338 miles and nothing but troubles. I am currently looking to change positons at work so I may not be needing a vehicle as they will be giving me one of my choice. It won't be a Ford. I have found that after buying them for the last 35 years, warranty means nothing and best of luck if you have problems.

2004 FX4 SCREW, 5.4 Triton, 3.73 LS rear.

Where do I begin....Rear end clunk---greased shaft and replaced clutch packs
Brake pedal went to the floor NO Brakes---- replaced ECU, Anti Lock Controller, and Master
Cylinder
Camshaft Phaser noise----Just got it back from the dealer
today.
With these problems, I still love the truck. The dealer has been very good about doing the repairs. Even paid for my rental on the brake repair. Never once questioned me or gave me a hard time. It still blows away the 2002 Tundra I had.

Nearly 9,000 miles just the "squeak" from the power sliding window which I'll eventually take in for the TSB fix. Other than that great and still loving it.

Smile no problems. Best vechicle yet

bought mine in Sep 04. 16,000 miles. No complaints, no noise, no vibration, no service. NO nothing. I drive 3 hours each way to work (only one round trip a week). have towed my 70 Boss 302 racecar all over with it. 17 mpg on the highway. AC is ice cold. Stereo is good. Rides like a car.

It is a bright yellow, STX (small motor, in case you didn't know all STX's have the small motor) regular cab, auto.
